I am an experienced OpenELEC user and have installed several builds (both clean and upgrades) using IMG and TAR files downloaded from OpenELEC.tv.

I downloaded the OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0.0.img file and when I tried to install it (by first using ARK to extract the OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0.0.img.gz file to OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0.0.img and then writing a bootable USB drive with OpenELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0.0.img) the installation hangs immediately after the new 'OpenELEC" logo.

Please advise.
