Last weekend I installed OpenElec to my HTPC and so far working great.
We have an old Dell 755 desktop running as an HTPC in the living room, with Win7x64 like my other PC was.
Took the same USB stick I used last week, put it in, and it boots up fine, but once it hits the OpenElec splash screen, it just sits there. USB flickers a bit when the screen comes up, but once the splash screen is up, USB does nothing. Left it for 5min and no change.
Saw something about AHCI in a post so went in to the BIOS and the only screen found with it was about RAID stuff, switched to Legacy mode and tried again, same deal.
Any ideas?
EDIT - Found a link about needing to hit ctrl+alt+f1 or ctrl+alt+f2 if stuck. Didn't work, until I switched the Rii mini-keyboard to a normal keyboard. If I hit the ctrl+alt+f1 to do the basic quick setup, it goes to a black screen with a cursor in the upper left corner, and doesn't do anything else.
