I'm new to OpenELEC.
This is my first try. I came here from another ELEC that's been having issues and I wanted to see what this one was all about.
I took the .img file, used RUFUS to write to a thumbdrive.
Put the thumbdrive in the HTPC, powered up, the nice OpenELEC screen came up (Linux install), i selected install, it asked
about wiping, I said ok, then it went through it's thing to create partitions, write the files, kernel, etc. Then it finished.
I selected REBOOT. Pulled out the thumbdrive, let the HTPC come up and nothing.
I though I had a bad image so I wrote another memory stick. But no go.
Does anyone have any ideas what's haulting the boot ?
The system has one SSD on 0 and there is no AMI or Radion onboard. It's a simple HP micro-mini pc with I5 and 8gig,
onboard everything else, including HDMI and VGA.
Thank you,
David.
ps. other simular ELEC systems ran, and were runnng on this box previous to this install. After this failed I put the
other ELEC on it and it works fine except the simple problem that's been hanging around with SAMBA.
